Rotary Club of Smithtown was founded on February 11, 1958. It serves
the Smithtown and St. James areas of the Town of Smithtown. Its over
sixty members keep the club involved in all aspects of the local community.

Vocation Service activities to the youth of our community include:

Sponsorship
of High School Interact Clubs in Smithtown, Middle Country & Newfield
High Schools (Interact is a group of students following the ideal of Rotary
who do their own fund raising and community service projects);

Sponsorship
of a local Boy Scout Troop;

Participation
in the Smithtown High School Business Advisory Committee;

Participation
and sponsorship of the Smithtown High School Student Renaissance Program;

Several
scholarships to deserving High School graduating students.
